Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hampton Inn by Hilton Long Beach Airport and Homewood Suites by Hilton Long Beach Airport bringing a total of 241 new rooms to the beautiful Long Beach area. IFA Signs Franchise Agreement With Hilton

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and IFA Betreibergesellschaft Hotel Kaiserslautern GmbH have signed a franchise agreement to open Hampton by Hilton Kaiserslautern. The hotel, which was signed alongside First Mayor Dr. Klaus Weichel, will include 140 guest-rooms and is expected to open in 2019.

The busiest month for corporate travel* is in full swing, inspiring Hilton’s (NYSE: HLT) global brand Hampton by Hilton to conduct a survey which uncovered that four in five respondents had business trip secrets. The study, conducted by Wakefield Research**, found that these secrets were as simple as scheduling meetings for a Friday or Monday to incorporate a weekend stay (51 percent) or a little more calculating like staying at a less expensive hotel to splurge elsewhere, such as a pricey restaurant (37 percent).
